Huntington Beach Attorney Karin Easter Gurwell
Orange County attorney Karin Easter Gurwell earned her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1976 and joined a professional practice shortly thereafter. After many years of working in larger offices, Karin founded her private practice in 1989. At Gurwell Law LLP, Karin is able to devote her time to working directly with clients, providing personal attention and customized representation. Karin is currently a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Superior Court Mediation and Arbitration Panels, as well as the Early Neutral Evaluation Panel.
Karin has extensive experience with cases involving business litigation, real estate litigation, landlord/tenant disputes and collection matters. Karin has dedicated her professional career to helping Huntington Beach and Orange County clients secure the futures they deserve.

- Karin and her husband are the parents of two sons, now grown. Kyle Norman Gurwell has recently been admitted to the California Bar and Andrew Gurwell is currently attending law school.
Attorney Kyle Norman Gurwell
Attorney Kyle Norman Gurwell is a Southern California native and received his undergraduate education from Orange Coast College, San Francisco State University and the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Geography.
Mr. Gurwell received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern School of Law, where he was a teaching assistant for Constitutional Law Professor Gary Rowe. Kyle authored two amicus appellate briefs which were subsequently submitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also worked as a law clerk for a major insurance litigation defense firm in downtown Los Angeles, volunteering with Homeboy Industries in his spare time. Kyle has also volunteered with A New Way of Life, an organization dedicated to rehabilitating formerly incarcerated persons.
Mr. Gurwell has a general civil litigation practice which focuses primarily on real estate, business, family law and criminal defense. His transactional expertise includes contracts and agreements, business transactions, corporate formation, maintenance and transactions. Kyle proudly speaks fluent Spanish.
